Does anyone have the latest forecast H85 zonal wind anomaly forecast for 5N to 5S? None of the ones that I usually access are updated...

My area has been extremely wet. I think in the eastern 40% of US it has matched the trend Everyone is saying it's because of El Nino, I think it's a 10-year thing happening. The Fall will be a better indicator of how wet the Nino STJ is.

The super el nino years 1972 and 1982 appear in the wettest composite. 1957 is the only robust el nino that appears in the driest. Interesting to note that a lot of the driest years produced some very cold/snowy winters.

Here's a very good meteorological discussion of the tornadoes in Dover and Long Island NY.

I felt my buddy would have some better pictures from the tornado, damage in both Eastern York and Colombia but unfortunately, there was nothing really groundbreaking there. However, here's the 42lb Flathead my buddy landed with a light action, bass rod and 12lb test after one, hell of a half hour battle in a gnarly exposed diabase hole in Colombia last night.

A gut punch. It appears that the dynamics were not enough to overcome the stubborn cloud cover over the NE quadrant of NC. An anemic 0.19" for the day. Glad I got the 0.33" yesterday so I at least break 0.50" for the week.

Sad how Alonso has been everything the Os had hoped he would be, and it has made zero difference. That speaks volumes about where this team is(or isnt).

Weird how the Os seem to be able to find ways to beat the Rays, probably the second best team in baseball.

I think that may be the only weakness Elias may have improved on: understanding the importance of not just any old veteran leadership, but leadership with pedigree. That was sorely missing those years...and I think it would've made a huge difference!
