Tremendous thunder and lightning overnight, it's been quite the thunderstorm season. .49" getting me to 3.00" for the month. Not much wind here thankfully but I know the NWS is looking for any damage reports just east of me as radar indicated possible straight line winds. @hudsonvalley21, how did to make out?

Quite the light display out there tonight. Woke me up. Lost power too briefly though right now it’s back on. -

Very cloudy here so no meteor shower action. -
Nice little storm just dropped a quick 3/4".

Lol Max Velocity crapped on NWS Baltimore for issuing tornado warnings along the line during the derecho as unnecessary and it turns out the line did produce tornadoes in that area. Gee it's almost like nws people know what they're doing.

Anybody able to see the persids meteor shower was able to see it looking north north east streaks in the sky every few to several minutes . -
Too bad it's cloudy here now. Terrible timing. No use going outside. Hopefully we'll have better luck with the Geminid meteor shower in december.

Decent storm ongoing right now. I was surprised to hear thunder because I checked the radar an hour ago and it looked like the storms to the west were petering out. Apparently not. -

People were dicks because of the venom that he often spewed in his responses. The data that he posted was not the issue; I appreciated that. I had nothing to do with his latest intrapersonal conflict, but I have had my share with him, as well. Maybe he just needed a break...I think we all have at one time or another. -

Congrats CT -
I only realized after I drew it all that it was nearly a carbon copy of the February threat if it worked out. Blame my school for only teaching me the Norway model of cyclogenesis and me only learning meteorology in the past La Niña years. Maybe I’ll try again later with a more west to northeast progression and add in some dynamics to guide me.
