  1. Past hour
  2. dude... take a deep breath... have some herbal tea... take a nap... this is the kinda behavior that makes everyone cheer for a BA season, just to see you take an L
  3. It's crazy that ewr may end up with under .25" for the week
  4. Gotta say it’s been many a year since I’ve seen water like this…Its what makes this hobby so damn interesting

  6. Yeah I don't think there's gonna be much activity this afternoon, but we'll see.
  7. 66/64 stratus 250 feet overhead. Only around .10" over the past many days. Can anyone spare an 1"?
  8. I'm happy for the unexpected 0.42" last night. That modest addition more than tripled July precip.
  9. Models have very little this afternoon but Upton and Mt holly are going 60% chance of showers
  10. Yesterday was one of the more impressive non-tropical summertime rainfalls we’ve had in a long time from a coverage perspective. Pretty much every location from the triad through the Triangle picked up at least 1.5” of rain and many areas had 2-3” obviously with some totals much higher than that
  11. Yeah I saw that cell popping up on radar last night before I went to sleep. I thought it would miss me just a little to the northwest, and that's what happened. I got only 0.23" from last night's steady rain, but at least it was enough to give the garden a watering.
  12. Nahh I have to be careful and remind myself I’m not in my 20’s anymore lol. I drink so little now only a few starts to hit me.
  13. Small cell just passed over Middletown where I am and it is pouring. I cannot recall in recent memory the consistency of rainfall the past 30 to 60 days after an extended period of dryness
  14. I would guess that Runyon 110° high was an error that never got corrected since its a few miles the east of New Brunswick and they only made it to 105°. 15. .85 at home, hoping we can scrape together an inch when the rest of this moves through
  16. Just want to add to the wx history for this day: “A tornado tore through Pompton Lakes on Saturday July 10, 1993. An estimated 200 trees were reportedly sucked out by their roots when a tornado passed over the Borough. The tornado came and went in less than 10 minutes and left a big mess”. -from the borough of PL FB page. I remember this day well. I was driving home from Ringwood. Almost couldn’t reach our house with trees down everywhere. Our dog was home alone during the storm and she wouldn’t leave our yard for a month afterwards.
  17. I was just trying to help him correct his data.
  18. I’m just saying that you should preface the repost by saying something like “Here’s a copy of a post from a Storm2K poster”.
  19. Today
  20. in last 2 days I got .77 tues and .6ish last night as others have stated (here in Lanco), its as lush as I've seen in some time for mid July. Nice to see the grass recovering from last couple years of dry periods that have wreaked havoc on my areas w/ shallow rock beds below. Happy mid summer to all.
  21. Hey everyone......looky who stopped in...the wondertwins. Now do the forum a favor.....and deactivate. (many old timers will get this) He offers far more credible info than you guys ever will.
