  1. Past hour
  2. Heaviest snow of the day so far right now. Quarters rolling down with probably just under 1/2 mile vis. So between moderate and heavy snow.
  3. 27.3. It's changing to that smaller higher ratio stuff. Very high number of flakes falling.
  4. They are a complete and total joke now
  5. Eh. Panics isn’t the right word. I’ll wait for some consistency.
  6. We're we supposed to get any high winds with this?? I'm grilling outside and just got a couple pretty good gusts a minute ago.
  7. Was just about to say, radar showing a snow shower just to my north in Roxboro (aka NC snow capital)
  8. I love this column from the Gardner News. I know the writer but who knows how accurate any of the temps mentioned were https://www.thegardnernews.com/story/news/2004/01/16/the-chill-winter-in-gardner/11270366007/
  9. Wouldn’t be shocked if this party starts before midnight. You can see the low level moisture starting to break out on radar, even at tilt 1
  10. If there’s accumulating snow in Tolland it would be a bust of epic proportions.
  11. Light flurries have begun in Rougemont (half way between Durham and Roxboro)
  12. Good question especially as a Trianglite....probably stay up til like 2am getting drunk playing poker and then check outside any time i wake up to take a leak ahaha. first sign of stickage i stay up
  13. 28 degrees moderate to light snow currently. Laying immediately.
  14. Is is directly over the top of that or does it develop downstream of a feature like that? Apologies, very MBY of me but the top of that is right over my head here on the Alamance/Guilford line. Wouldn’t mind a micro feature like that to “dry slot” proof us early! .
  15. Light snow and 28. Already a dusting including the driveway.
  16. ORH did indeed tie the record low max of 10F in 1934. Kind of a weak vulnerable record but tied nonetheless.
  17. Can I say it? WRAL post Fishel isn’t really worth paying much attention to. .
  18. Great beach weekend at KD Hills. https://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lon=-75.664&lat=36.013
  19. 37°F in Belmont, NC. Pumped to see any amount of snow, truly. What's everyones plan for sleep haha. I think I am going to try a brief nap here soon, waking up around 3-4 AM as of now, don't want to miss a moment - worried I'll end up just staying up all night and tomorrow!
