When someone hands you a printout of a single model run, they aren't looking at a forecast; they're looking at one possible mathematical solution out of thousands, and usually the most extreme one. Nothing near that here........visbility about 1 miles across the water. I think if there's nothing to blow into the air (like over the water), the visibility would a a constant.....but maybe i'm wrong. We were under 1/2 vis for about 90 minutes.

A good friend of mine sent me a few pictures from Green Hill. He said 27 but I think he's low but if he has a depth near 30 inches that truly is sick! Despite wind fractured flakes,settling and just compacting under its own weight that's really astonishing.
