  1. Past hour
  2. I bet it's ripping up on the ridge tops. Camp David gusted to 61 earlier. Nothing going on in the lowlands yet. Just muddy and lame lol
  3. Yeah and it has juicier amounts too. Like 3-4” across the pike region. Ukie tries to keep the sfc front south which is what we’d want.
  4. Yeah going to be watching them. The water buckets have been decently low and have been filling them 2x’s a day. And one of them eats soup so nice and warm. I feel bad though with this front that just blew through. I put them out as you know moving is better than standing in a stall. I chanced it with a brief spot of rain and no sheets, only one has a sheet, but looks to have blown through quickly. Things should dry out for sure though with this wind. Putting the two mini’s in their paddock this morning and not slipping down the slight incline was dicey. That being said just had a ruckus of wind blow through here. Had a decent part of rain embedded in the line that I took a direct hit from A spotter on mPING out in Jefferson reported pea sized hail from it.
  5. Glass half full people be like…just in time for peak snow climb at our latitude. Nice…
  6. The front is fun. 10 deg drop in 8 min and a gust to 42 at Thurmont currently.
  7. Skynet following uncle—Tuesday colder with even Brett happy. Also much less lasting and amplitude of warmth thereafter.
  8. I know SouthCoastMA will love this because i'm the grim reaper but i would lock 12z GFS op if i could.
  9. 24th might stay pretty cold as northerly floW drills down behind low. Bigger question is how warm Cmas gets. Might be 38-40 or it could be like 44-48
  10. I threw my chainsaw in the back of the Prius this morning in case I need to clear anything to get back home. I acknowledge this may be the first time in recorded history that someone has uttered or written the words "I threw my chainsaw in the back of the Prius"
  11. Can't buy a gust here. Had a 27mph gust so far
  12. Maybe I've asked this before...but given this I'm even more surprised surprised at your call for 18" in the contest thread. I mean my layman eyes saw that as a bit bullish for a nina, but what do I know? Lol
  13. had a gust of 19.5 mph. Somebody hold me.

  15. As in one strong cutter dumping cold air behind it towards us and suddenly we’re tracking a follow up wave. Could really happen anytime, but I have that pegged in week 2/3 in Jan. Could be sooner.
  16. Wind front going through with some showers.....
  17. He's back. He's flexing. He's not done with us yet.
  18. The same up here in my area of Central NH. Powerful gusts in the 40s a bit earlier. Now a lull before the CF. Loosing our snowcover rapidly! 51.4F
  19. Unfortunately it doesn’t look at all cold after the 23rd. It ain’t gonna last
  20. We have known for days that Tuesday was going to snow. Literally since last Sunday actually
  21. I just spoke to my friend. He had to cut me short because rain was flooding his driveway in Albany lol. He indicated that mid January at the earliest for a colder pattern here. He said the convection is going strong in phase 6 and he thinks it should shift east over time and we get colder and he said January is pretty cold in phase 8. We shall see
  22. Columbia 0.32” Thursday night thru Friday morning.
