Looks like eastern Wake County has some snow mPings and bands coming from the south…for the Raleigh folk. Well look at it this way…if we get a few inches it’ll be a nice snow and less time needed to recover if we got something insane. And looks like many more shots at snow the next 2 weekends. .

Just keep building those 1,500 foot skyscrapers next to Central Park and ask why the park has a hard time going below 9-10 degrees. Blowing snow in Lenoir City and 15 degrees...incredible and beautiful. Between 3-4 inches; its hard to find an exact measure due to the snow being so powdery and blowing around. BRUTALLY COLD!

My cheapy thermometers are at 6. Driving home from the beach yesterday along 404 and 50, all the rivers are completely frozen over including the Choptank in Denton and the Severn and South in Annapolis. The Narrows was mostly frozen and the Bay had a lot of ice on the western side, but the center and even along Sandy Point was still open. I heard The Plunge will only be a dip this year as they want participants to only go knee deep.
