  1. Past hour
  2. Light-moderate snow here. Just shy of 2”. Hoping those heavier bands make their way towards me soon.
  3. Well at least with this current band it looks like Parr’s Ridge is going to cash in- not surprising. Hopefully more areas will get in on the action.
  4. Finally hit 32 here. Light snow continues but is finally sticking to all surfaces. Streets are now fully covered.
  5. But i dont agree with what that Paper says in general what is going on now,you can still have a CCKW or the MJO to cause the AR into Cali, let alone the jet steam
  6. As of 12 am, we have light snow with 0.3" on the ground (all surfaces covered) and it's down to 33F.
  7. At midnight, here in Carlisle, it continues to snow lightly, but steadily. The temperature has hung out around 32.7 for most of the evening which is preventing the paved street and sidewalks from completely covering over. As of midnight I have recorded 0.5" of new snowfall. This also records a storm total of 0.5". I melted down the snowfall so far and have measured 0.08" of liquid as of midnight. The temp has dropped 0.5 degrees in the past 30 minutes and is now standing at 32.2 degrees F. Almost every model has given me between 1.5" and 2.0" of snowfall. The canadian has been the only model that has pushed the 2+" line off to my northwest. So, it will be interesting to see how things pan out in the morning. Getting a solid 2" would be great, but it's hard to complain over just 1.5" when this has been modeled for me for many runs now. Good luck to all. I hope those that got gipped out of our last storm can take home the prize.
  8. We're on the board. 0.1" as of midnight. 32⁰ Exit off the Sunken Meadow for 25a East is completely snow covered. North bound parkway was starting to cover on the north side of overpasses. That little extra shade during the day makes a difference.
  9. Light snow here in Brick. Only sticking to cars and wooden steps so far. Hopefully that band to my south over Toms River lifts north.

  11. Snow and 31 degrees nw of Winchester. Pretty crazy change from 45 and sunny 5 hours ago. Let's go!!
  12. Yeah this is going to be all rain for me isn't it?
  13. Radar not inspiring up this way. Returns keep getting weaker. Congrats to whoever cashes in on the death band. Welp least I don’t have to steak now cause definitely not hitting 5” here.
  14. Yes it has - as sleet I'm just saying it looks awful wet out there right now, it may cut down on higher totals. We shall see.
  15. Doesnt appear to include the Peninsula. Maybe early am
  16. I just returned home from a music gig in Gaithersburg (central MoCo) When I left it was 36 degrees with wet pavement. Pulled onto 270 and about a half mile north of 370 it began to rain/ snow mix and the temp was 34. At the Germantown/Damascus exit it was 33 with moderate snow and about an inch- roads were beginning to cave. By the time I got back to Damascus it was 30 degrees with moderate snow- the sides roads completely caved with about 1.5”. It’s been a while since I’ve experienced the rain snow line so clearly demarcated through MoCo
  17. Obs in the obs thread please. Models/HRRR screwed us in this thread
  18. Light coating on all cold surfaces now in Parkville. About to go walk
  19. Light snow has begun here in Barnstable on Cape Cod.
