No smoke here as of a half hour ago, but I won’t be mad if it drifts another 40 or so miles south by this evening.
-
No sign of any smoke down here in the swampy lowlands. We didn't get a ton of rain last night, less than 1/2". But it's wet and soupy out. Good moth weather.

64 / 59 light rain. Kinds of luck yesterday going partly sunny as the next 72 hours starting today look like Ireland - coold cloudy and spotty rain / drizzle. Heaviest rains stay south and today looks the wettest of the next 3. Highs near or below 70 each of the 3 days. Clear out and warm up by Tuesday. 80s by Wed and next shot at 90 by Thu with continued storm chances. Het builds out of the west to the north and east by the 20th with shot of a much hotter pattern especially inland from there and beyond. 6/14 - 6/16: Cool / cloudy wet around 0.5 for most 6/17 - 6/19: Warmer / still chance of shower/storms 6/20 - beyond : Heat builds north and east / Overall warm-hot and wet

Incredibly smoky in Parkton. Smells awful.
-
Quick burst. Now up to 0.47"
-
Wild - I'm barely east of you and managed .54
-
Excessive headline-able heat signal

My f-i-l just texted me about that. And I saw a tweet about it being bad in Baltimore too. But nothing noticeable in Columbia.
-
I mean the data coverage. There should be another radar station somewhere around Reading, PA.
-
Yep. Can verify from near downtown silver spring that we only got like a tenth, enough to wet the grass. But it felt like a monsoon was coming - lots of lightning and thunder. We missed it.
-
Getting into heavier rain now as it looks like the main line is cutting west to east with a slight sag south; stationary front?
-
Only a sprinkle here. First Saturday w/o measurable precip since March 22. Still cool (50s) but clouds are looking thinner.
-
12z hrrr looks good for us. Less good that I’ll be at the orioles game in the middle of it…

I’ve seen some musings that the very low arctic sea ice of the last decade may be playing some role in the wintertime +NAO/+AO states we’ve been seeing
