  2. Not much rain for the upcoming weekend. WB 9Z NBM
  3. About 10" below average...still better would be tied for the 2nd most snow that I have had since 2017-2018. Take. That close to climo in a super El Nino likely includes a big fish.
  4. Low of 69 with .63” of rain. A nicer airmass moving in this afternoon and another perfect night for high school football.
  5. Especially with the most recent runs moving to cutoff the upper low under the big ridge.

  7. not a beer recommendation, but the Franconia Ridge Loop would be an amazing hike if you are looking for the full monty and the weather cooperates. Park at or across from Lafayette campground (if you can), and hike up the Falling Waters Trail to the top of Little Haystack, follow the ridge above treeline north across Lincoln and on to Lafayette, then follow the Old Bridle Path down past AMC's Greenleaf Hut (refill water) and continue on to your car. Another option is Mt. Liberty which is nearby, the route to the summit follows the AT.
  8. Looks like this could continue for a while too.
  9. ACATT wanted to end the relentless torch we’ve been in. So you’re now left with a week + straight of rain and mild temps starting Sunday . Preparing us for a whole winter of the same thing with little to no snow

  11. Been seeing color all over parts of southeast Bergen County for the last week. My maple tree showing signs of red at the top.
  12. picked up just over an inch of rain. the grass seed I put down 1 1/2 weeks ago is sprouting like crazy, can't even see some of the patches i filled in, all covered with grass now.
  13. It was a fun few months but we’re back to being the armpit of the nation’s weather.
  14. A 5 model blend now puts my rainfall at 2.11" for Monday - Wednesday. Just what the doctor orders. Hopefully, this will be the beginning of 6 months worth of moderate to heavy rainfall. Augusta has a 10 - 12" deficit to recover since August 2025.
  15. I bought the Sam Adam's pumpkin ale
  16. The AAM is now up to +3.7 and has a good chance to be off the chart tomorrow!
  17. Euro finally showing some consistency about a significant cool down coming towards the end of the month.
  18. Hey, at least it was 1972-1976 and not 1872-1876.
  19. DP of 70 at 7am in mid September. F this.
  20. Today
  21. The continuing record WWBs are making this the strongest east based event for so early in the season.
  22. US National Weather Service State College PA Friday, September 18th, 2026 @ 5:40 AM EDT Good morning everyone! Clouds will disperse from north to south today as drier air filters in across the Commonwealth, with our southern tier of counties being the last to break out of this muggier air mass later in the day. A stray shower is possible during the morning and afternoon, with rain-free conditions across our area from tonight through Saturday. Rainfall returns on Sunday as a system tracks across the Mid-Atlantic, with periods of damp/dreary weather during the week ahead while the system lingers off the coast. Rainfall may be heavy at times, meaning that localized flooding could occur late this weekend & during this upcoming week, though rainfall will trend more scattered and drizzly as the week wears on.
  23. Yeah, looks like a very wet pattern coming up with lows and stalled fronts undercutting the big high to our north and plenty of easterly flow.
  24. Pretty remarkable, we are now looking at a solid chance of going the rest of September with no tropical cyclone, let alone a hurricane. Now that GFS finally dropped its fantasycane, models show zilch into October.
