  1. Past hour
  2. 89 is a real eyesore. Why doesn't someone at the NWS perform an automatic adjustment to account for poor siting? I see them do it for bad snowfall amounts all the time.
  3. These 89s are becoming real eyesores lol
  4. Yep, let the Europeans and Canadians take over, they do everything better anyway.
  5. 2.11" of rain so far today in East Nantmeal and 2.94" since yesterday.
  6. Islip had a sea breeze all day. Nyc is ridiculous lol.
  7. Highs: EWR: 95 ACY: 93 PHL: 93 TEB: 93 LGA: 93 JFK: 91 New Brnswck: 91 BLM: 90 (no intra hour highs) TTN: 90 ISP: 87 NYC: 89
  8. This does wonders for everything electrically powered... decreasing the mean time between failures (MTBF) that is engineered into everything these days.
  9. Steady lt/mod rain for the last hour and about 1.5 in the gauge. Perfect!
  10. Saw a dead bird on my walk with the dog too. Pretty bird, had red tipped feathers.
  11. Based on this graph, June WCS PDO calculates to be ~-1.8. That likely puts the June NOAA PDO, the one that the table refers to, way down in the -2.5 to -2.9 range, which is sharply down from the -1.71 of May. The current daily NOAA equivalent is likely down to the upper -3 range! The lowest daily WCS I’ve seen since starting to track this a couple of years ago is the -3.04 of 5/31/24. The 6/30/25 -3.00 is very close:
  12. 1st day of July was very average for us but a bit windy. Low of 75, high of 88. Winds gust into the upper 20's this afternoon.
  13. I wonder when they still start shutting down ASOS.
  14. Highs: EWR: 95 ACY: 93 PHL: 93 TEB: 93 LGA: 93 JFK: 91 New Brnswck: 91 BLM: 90 (no intra hour highs) TTN: 90 ISP: 87 NYC: 89
  15. yep just some moderate rain here-no wind or thunder...but needed rain at this point
  16. We picked up about .10” earlier, but I would say there was much more than that just to my south. At least the flowers will be happy tomorrow.
