    I live at about 40’ ASL, but we’re expecting snow levels to drop to 2500-3000ft by Wednesday. The December/early January storms were too warm to bring snow to the Santa Ynez, so looking forward to being able to see the snow capped peaks from the beach for the first time since I moved here.

    Which is exactly the reason why we need to wait until 0z Wednesday night before we take anything seriously. It’s going to be model mayhem at this range, to be expected. You have models showing a major snowstorm, a blizzard, a near miss and no storm at all. You aren’t going to get anything close to consensus right now

    Op euro doesn’t quite do it, but a step closer to the good camps. We don’t have consensus yet, so probably need to wait until Wednesday for that.

    12 Euro Op still not buying next weekends storm but the 12z AI GFS was on board and the 12z Euro AI was not a full hit for us but was very close and much more amped then its Operational suite .
