You know someone would've done it...it had nothing to do with the length of your original post. Anyway, BTV with 16th warmest on record!? Is that going all the way back to the 1882 climate start time or like 16th out of the last 30 years? Fairly impressive if it's 16th out of like 130 years. In the coming years it will be interesting to see what type of air masses are required to get BTV real cold departures. This summer is still top 25% warm for BTV. First one for my particular location (meaning, where I was living at the time), too, though as usual there was not a hint of svr closer than a couple miles from the house. Nice irony, too, as my wife was on the phone with our daughter in DEC, and this time WE had the tor warning. I'd put this summer in the top 1/4, as I'm not a fan of sustained heat, nor of hauling water to the garden. Regular TD drops into the 40s, no extended high-dew periods, enough heat and sun to keep the veggies growing, my kind of wx. The data in the OP would offer a lot more info if the years of record were included for all the stations. Context enhances content. (Though thanks is due for digging out what was posted.) I was hoping for a little more action in that department. We also got spoiled last summer with the thunderstorms and daily flash flooding. That was record wet and stormy. Like this is one of J.Spin's observations in Waterbury for a period last summer when 11" of rain fell in 13 days... that was daily thunderstorms, especially in the mountains where the airmass t-storms would fire up every single afternoon. It was just t-storm after t-storm last summer. My favorite was the mid-July straight-line wind damage when Stowe/Morrisville lost power for 3 days due to severe blow down. See 2008. Lol I didn't say you needed 95/74 (although for the real big time stuff it definitely helps) but 72/50 isn't going to cut it.
