Here a few miles S of Prince Frederick we got 2.9 inches from the system a week ago, and about a half inch from the noreaster. Aug and Sept have been great after months of severe drought. Has happened all year. Yep, Ditto here. Forecast is STILL mostly sunny and 78, same as it was at 7 am, lol. Judging by guidance, you should see some sun by the late-morning hours, but then clouds look to roll back in again after 6 or so. Trying to get a mow in today and Friday morning before overseeding and areation. You think Friday morning looks good for a second lower cutting prior to areation? Going in to work at 2:00 PM today. Judging by the positioning of the ridge and the expected timing of the front, Friday AM looks like a good time. If only that could please move down here to Austin TX. We're parched and we're fading fast. So we flew home yesterday. Had a layover in Dallas. Walking up off the plane on the jetway and back onto our flight to Baltimore it was like a sauna in there. We were told by the people we were house sitting for that they have really needed the rain out there also. The Rio Grande had just gotten down to a small stream/creek and what we saw when flying in was because of the El Nino rain.
