Yeah it’s really interesting. Google DeepMind has been the best in tropical in the Atlantic two years in a row now, and the weathernext has been the top performer overall. The machines really have been good…even going back to their hits last winter…

There’s an article about how they developed this model. Pretty insane for not using any of the physics we incorporate in current models. I had ChatGPT summarize it lol.

It could be the invention of a hammer, or talking to AI, but our species is dedicated to solving every inconvenience.  It’s our nature, even if it leads to negative consequences.
