Preliminary data suggested MSP was 89’d today so the elusive first 90 waits another day. Average first 90 here is fast approaching on May 30th.

Southward-moving central WI storms were severe warned into far northwest Dane County, but sputtered into Madison on fumes and have now ceased to exist.

38 here, 32 at Baraga Plains, and the cool spot again Eagle Mine at 29.  Should top out in the mid-upper 60's with wall to wall sun.

Upper 30's-low 40's around NE MN. Hog Creek up in Cook County hit 33.

BTW, don't know about the rest of you, but starting to add idiots to my penalty box. If I need to see what is being said, I can just briefly open the door, then shut it again. We are here to enjoy the wx active or not.

Came across a random patch of snow today.  It's at the end of a camp drive so it's remnants from a plowed pile, but impressive to see on May 28th, nonetheless.

Yeah, it’s why I seldom frequent this board tbh. It’s a stagnant echo chamber propped up by denialism and people who are completely out of touch with reality (especially the older crowd/boomers). Add in the same recycled, low-effort trolling from the usual suspects as you mentioned, and it’s hard to take anything seriously here. That aside, it was a great spring overall, arguably close to how nice 2024 was.

This all started because you said the cool early in the month was transient. instead of admitting you were wrong, you go on some ridiculous tirade about how warm March and April were and how warm the western US was last winter. WTF does any of that have to do with this month having below normal temperatures?

Like I said. They can't even acknowledge the cold winter in this actual region, so we hear about how warm it was in the West and how the regular actual weather posters dont acknowledge warm months enough . Cold winter in the Great Lakes, but its warm in the west, thats what people in the great lakes should care about! Cool May in the Lakes? Umm who cares it was 98 in philadelphia, thats what people in the lakes should care about! (Btw welcome back to Philadelphia! They didnt exist this past winter, but an unusual May heatwave brought them resoundlingly back to existence). Some of us actually are still weather enthusiasts and thats not understandable to him. Hes partially right about one thing though. Its the same stagnant echo chamber with him and his buddy.

Yeah. I probably shouldn’t have even responded to him as it’s just derailing another thread. He’s either being a troll or intentionally obtuse.
