Before someone comments about chemicals/fertilizer. All I use for fertilizer is purely organics lawn fertilizer from New Hampshire that is made with waste brewery grains. I spot spray weeds with tenacity an all natural weed killer. 

 

The organic matter is the key.  The chemical ferts are like crack, they juice the grass but the effects wear off quickly and they don't contribute to the long-term microbial biodiversity in the soil, which is important for plant health. 

Lawn looks awesome !  Mine's still dormant.

lawn is waking up and going green. will be raking out the beds and towing the lawn sweeper around this weekend. Tractor oil change/maintenance done. ready to rock and roll!

All mine dropped all leaves in the fall for the first time ever. So nice . I think the cold fall/ early winter did it

that is infuriating. i have more oak leaves on my lawn today than i had last fall. the trees are naked, but the stupid wind keeps blowing them out of the woods

So, what do we think, are we really getting some rain on Friday?  Am I good to put down some weed n feed and overseed tomorrow?  Already thatched and got rid of all the leaves, twigs and f*cking acorns.
