Poor little birdie smacked my living room window. Heard a loud thump, and when I checked, there he was sitting on the deck rail trying to regain his bearings. At least he made it. Sometimes they break their neck. Not uncommon to find a dead bird laying on the deck.

I always wonder what birds think after they hit a window. They probably think where did that come from?

Spent the day in Houghton yesterday then drove the spine of the Keweenaw down to Ontonagon County to check out Victoria Dam Falls.  Never seen anything quite like it.  The falls created their own rain. 

My bad on the audio, I had my finger over the microphone by mistake.

 

I saw a few years ago there were a couple kayakers who rode this one on a day like this. Not as much flow, but damn close.
