All I asked was a question regarding if he had a successful business. I never once mentioned anything about meteorolgy....and BTW generating revenue doesnt mean a business is successful. There are plenty of businesses that generate revenue but lose money.. 1 2

Folks it is business 101...see Lehman Brothers and Toys R US as prime examples...never under estimate what debt can do to a business...learned that early on in one of my first business law courses.. taught by an actual practicing attorney rather than a prof who hadn't seen the inside of a courtroom in decades... Great Snow 1717
Ive never been able to figure out why some people are bothered by people who post long range forecasts. All of those forecasts should be taken with an iceberg type grain of salt. I cant recall the last time Ive read or watched one of those types of forecasts Some of the people are laughing all the way to the bank because of people clicking on or watching their long range forecasts. At the end of the day the vast majority of them are going to do what generates the most page/video hits. For the most part they arent concerned about their forecast being right. They are focused on making money by using headlines to drive people to their sites That is how the game is played. At the end of the day there are more important things to be concerned with. bristolri_wx
I don't think this winter will be nearly as bad as people are expecting. December and January are likely to be warm and wet. How much of that ends up as snow will just be some luck on low pressure tracks/placements. I wouldn't put a lot of hope into a White Christmas for Southern New England. However, February and March are looking cooler on the long range forecasts, while still showing above normal precipitation. Could be a back-loaded winter. Locking in a below normal snowfall winter would be quite pre-mature at this point while the El Nino is still developing, and other factors may come into play.
