Subjectively speaking, these are much more well formed dendrites than during the January storm.  It is occasionally windy; one gust was enough to blow snow from the ground (not just from the trees and roofs).

Still 30/29 S+

No warm layer this time to ruin the snow growth.

Long time lurker. Out on Long Island. Posted one other time when we had the storm is 2016, got 3 feet. Just feels awesome to get a storm and not have to worry about a change over or anything like that. Been reading all week and to see this all come to fruition has been awesome!! Thanks to all who contribute to the posts and relay all the info. Enjoy everyone!!

Luck of the draw but I'm in JC and its still dumping here so IDK how bad that subsidence zone really is.

I'm in it. Southern Bergen Co. Been straddling both sides of moderate for the past 40 minutes or so.. It's picked up a little over the past few minutes though.

Yup.  So much for the idea that surface temps affect ratios.

As winds pickup I'd imagine they decrease somewhat, but still at that point it would still pile up since its falling on a blanket of snow already
