JTA66
September is only 6 months away, 189 days until Labor Day! Kids will be back in school, the NFL will be getting underway and Lowe's & Home Depot will have Christmas decorations out! We'll be tracking again before long!

I know people want the warmth, I’m among them, but it’s going to be a struggle to see serious sustained warmth.
Hurricane Agnes
Even with the "threatening" radar, am only getting some drizzle and graupel (with the latter only barely visible on cold surfaces). Currently 33 with dp 29.
Physicsteve
Had a little sleet to start and now plain drizzle. Like Agnes, very light rates so far.

The Iceman
Next two weeks are looking more wet than anything else. Drought is going to be busted by mid month. You can tell the pacific and gulf moisture feed aimed at our area on the ensembles. I’d expect 2-3 1”+ qpf events in the next 2 weeks.

Some stuff on the the mulch areas but that's about it. We are going to torch starting around Sunday... 35f/misty and low clouds, pretty dark out there. Heisy
The second of those weeks could be our last trackable window, say 3/15-20. eta: fantasy land caveats applySignal for a nice +PNA growing on euro guidance. It’s more muted on GFS/GEFS. Without blocking though wed need well timed waves. Shortwaves timed right after a cold front. Significant snow likely a long shot, but we’re going to get some decent cold shots if this is legit.

No, but anyone with common sense knows that there won't be 2 snow events post-March 10. That's only happened once ever (in 2018), and temperatures had cooled long before that. We won't get 2 snow events after this warmup. Besides, I haven't been wrong on everything this winter. I did say December would be below average temperaturewise, and I called this March warmup at least a month in advance.
ChescoWx
Unfortunately, our warmth will be a bit muted for the rest of the work week along with rain much of the time. Today will likely be our "warmest" day of the work week with highs in the upper 40's. The pain of spring in the Northeast with chilly ocean water temperatures will rear its ugly head for the rest of the week as winds back off the very chilly ocean and drive temps back down into the low to mid 40's at best for both Thursday and Friday. We finally warm up for the weekend with temps into the 60's. We should see as much as 0.75" to an inch of beneficial rains over the rest of the work week. I'm skeptical we hit 70 even this weekend but we shall see, you may end up being right that it gets warmer in spring, gutsy call and all.. no one said 2 snow events you again are putting words in peoples mouths. Heisy is highlighting a period of possible interest not saying there's going to be 2 snowstorms. It snows on average 1/4 March's here, deal with it.

Ya gotta admit, it's a bold prediction stating that temps will warm up as we enter spring. Since we're making gutsy predictions, here's mine... The Flyers ain't winning the Stanley Cup this year. Not saying it can't happen, but more elements need to be in place. I remember a few solid April snows one not too long ago.
