September is only 6 months away, 189 days until Labor Day! Kids will be back in school, the NFL will be getting underway and Lowe's & Home Depot will have Christmas decorations out! We'll be tracking again before long!

Shocker with the water temps. I know people want the warmth, I’m among them, but it’s going to be a struggle to see serious sustained warmth.

Even with the "threatening" radar, am only getting some drizzle and graupel (with the latter only barely visible on cold surfaces).  Currently 33 with dp 29.

Had a little sleet to start and now plain drizzle. Like Agnes, very light rates so far.

It snowed for about 5 minutes before changing to rain lol.

Sleet for about an hour and now been steady ZR since than as of 9am freezing rain and 30.8 degrees. Deck is of course a sheet of ice

I didn't see anything frozen fall, but there's a light coating of crud on my car's windshield.

Still freezing rain but temp now up to 31.8

Next two weeks are looking more wet than anything else. Drought is going to be busted by mid month. You can tell the pacific and gulf moisture feed aimed at our area on the ensembles. I’d expect 2-3 1”+ qpf events in the next 2 weeks.

Some stuff on the the mulch areas but that's about it. We are going to torch starting around Sunday...

Signal for a nice +PNA growing on euro guidance. It’s more muted on GFS/GEFS. Without blocking though wed need well timed waves. Shortwaves timed right after a cold front. Significant snow likely a long shot, but we’re going to get some decent cold shots if this is legit.
