He literally says in the post his reasoning we will still see snow, and when, and y’all aren’t seeing it fall outside right this minute so you’re jumping off the cliff I’ll be honest, it’s not cliff diving. Raleigh isn’t getting accumulating snow from this. We’re firmly in the subsidence zone. That’s just what I see, not wish casting or hoping or model watching which is useless at this point. I’ll stick my neck out there and say 0.0” for Raleigh. Congrats everyone else, major snowstorm for so many! Love seeing everyone happy for once! ncstatered21
The HRRR and 3k NAM are both throwing Raleigh a bone potentially. They were not on board earlier and we are in their time range for sure. That along with Fishel you have to have some hope. Now that’s assuming you’re OK with 3” while everyone around us probably gets 6”. .

StantonParkHoya
I do think we get 3-4 ultimately, unfortunately it won’t be the nice daytime snow everyone else got. We have done something bad to be screwed this hard for this long..

Officially the airport has already surpassed 6 or 7 inches and still coming down hard. Biggest snowfall in over 20 years

kayman
All I'm going to say this is first time since 2022, CLT has seen consistent snow. I don't know why some Triangle (Raleigh/Wake County) posters are complaining and crashing out about the dry slot. There were reports of snow there 2 weekends ago in Raleigh when it was cold rain in CLT. CLT always gets shafted by the mysterious dry slot more often by these types of coastal systems. It is what it is. The Triangle posters are the majority here. The roles are reversed in this system for the first time in a long time.
