At 9am up to 4.6" here in EN with 1.3" in past hour. Temp up to 8.9 degrees

4.3" @ 9am in Reading. Snow has really picked up since the top of the hour. Visibility under 1/4 mile. The race is on. Up to a balmy 11*

I said this in many of my posts the last 3 days  that it would sleet in the heavier bands. Standing well over 4 inches at the house and snowing heavily

DELDOT cameras show some snow still falling south of there.

No official measurement as I just took the dog out but at least 5” and 9.6 F. Wish the coastal was off the coast another 50 miles!

How long of a timeframe is that?

Just measured 6" actually. 4" was an eyeball estimate.

As the coastal takes over I think we should start to see and more SW to NE orientation to the taint line as opposed to the S to N orientation we have been seeing. Short range guidance suggests this too. Hopefully can buy areas further nw some extra time.

Yup, given the visibility reductions looks like more snow than sleet. More of a mix or changeover closer to coastal Sussex County, DE.

There is ongoing FGEN, it is just more spread out looking on the radar currently (resulting in a large area of moderate to heavy snow).

I took several, lowest spot was 5.5". Some over 8".
