SnowDawg
At my folks house taking care of them on the south side of Rabun county (Wiley). Just crossed the freezing mark at the surface and steadily dropping. Only the brighter returns are making it to the ground for now, but unfortunately all liquid. Afraid this one is gonna be really rough here...

gwlee7
Good early evening from DFW. We have had mostly sleet. Still maybe only an inch or but enough to not want to try going anywhere. NWS and the TX forum suggest heaviest is still yet to come. I hope you are all okay when it’s over. Check in again later.

Snow dog
Is it possible that the last squal line will be so heavy that it will at least limit theability of the freezing rain to accumulate?
SUNYGRAD
13 minutes ago, Snow dog said: Is it possible that the last squal line will be so heavy that it will at least limit theability of the freezing rain to accumulate? It is possible, but many surfaces are already cold and depending how much snow/sleet you have, it could exacerbate the situation, some trees----like pines.
