That's very bullish from upton. But really highlighting how the shorelines will only have an inch or two. And considering we have around 1" in parts of NYC, they believe we'll only have 2 more by the time the storm is done. HRRR is big on the moderate-heavy snow this evening, but most other guidance only has 1-2" more inches for most of us.

Upton lowered high temp here from 36 to 33, and my temp had actually dropped back a bit in the past 20. So I don’t see rain being an issue at the coast either. Just gotta get the dynamics to pop for a bit

2” new this morning.  Weekend total 6.2”.  We have tapered down to very light snow/flurries.

Round 1 yielded around 1.5 - 2.0 here.  Total of 3.4 here (so far since Saturday)

 

we'll have to watch the coastal and how much it throws back later this afternoon.

Watch the radar today.  Best precipitation for rest of today looks to be along and east of I95.  Moisture plume is southeast and developing coastal will track south and east of the benchmark. Will be hard to wrap / pull that moisture back into north and west locations given the dynamics of the system.  Not a slowing and explosive coastal development.  Not dissing it just keep your expectations on the lower end of things if you are north and west.  Picked up .7” here so far today.
