Yeah, you were pretty steady all along. I got sucked in when the short term mesos started putting out big numbers even up here. I should have known it would be a recipe for disappointment.

Foxyy weather for the win. If a lot of the sub ends up with 1 to 3 inches, i'm going  have to rub that one in.

It’s snowing all around the 81 corridor ( seems to be 20 miles out from either side) but not along 81 from the Turnpike north. We have an answer on where the subsistence zone will sit.
Should be framed in the weenie louve. I'm glad I listened to my gut about this one and didn't get invested. I almost didn't post my analysis very early this morning. I feel bad it ended up verifying to such an extent. Screenshot_2026-02-22_180632.jpg

Ob update....oh boy is it snowing heavily!  Inch/hr.  Looks fantastic around my streetlight coming down.  Temp is 32.4.  More updates to come...

Band is becoming more and more evident on radar. It's blossoming across central Perry down through central Cumberland and down into central Adams. You look primed to get pasted

Yay!  Thanks for your update.  Everything is white outside now including sidewalks and street.

Yep, the trough is the place to be.  I'm starting to wonder if there might even be a noticeable difference between you and I.  You still not accumulating?

Watching that band is interesting. Pictures in order are from 330, 430, 530, 620. That band has collapsed east due to the bombing low. If it didn't and stayed in its location and strength the area between it and coastal would be stuck in drizzle all night. Sometimes these things hate moving at all Screenshot_2026-02-22_182052.jpgScreenshot_2026-02-22_182101.jpgScreenshot_2026-02-22_182109.jpgScreenshot_2026-02-22_182116.jpg

You and I both know betting against mesos is usually long odds. I knew we’d correct east but thought we were safe enough for my 12” bar to have a chance. 25 miles east of me may still get it. That’s not a big bust imo.

I thought we were safe for double digits too. We may still be, who knows. I'm getting moderate snow now at 32 degrees. Everything finally caved.

At 7:00 pm here in Carlisle...it continues to snow moderately with good flake size and occasionally a heavy burst.  The temperature is 32.4 degrees.  During the past hour I measured an additional 1.0" giving a storm total of 1.4".  Great to see the ground any everywhere covered in white once again.  Definitely curious to see where we go from here as the low continues to bomb out.  NJ is easily getting raked.  I'm going to get in touch with a few friends to see how they're doing in north Jersey.

Was just about to go outside, you have spared me.  Looks about right out the window.  Roads covered and accumulating so should get the kids a day off tomorrow even if amounts are not impressive.  If we can hold the line here all night, should still get several inches.

32degrees, dpt 31

My buddy in southcentral jersey says he currently has blizzard conditions (like most people he probably doesn't know the true definition but you know what I mean haha), only 3" so far but says it came quick.
