Most models now keep most of the light snow chance tomorrow night just to our south, but a dusting to coating from the turnpike south is still on the table for now.

The Euro continued to be enthused about the Friday Clipper chance, bringing 1 to 2 inches of snow to most of CTP again this run.

When is your attempt to walk across the frozen Susquehanna River?

It isn't even totally frozen in the picture! I think we would need below zero weather, highs as well as lows for a week solid in order for it to freeze enough for any kind of an attempt

Low of 13. Mid week threat looking marginal at best, even down this way. Phil sees his shadow, six more weeks of winter!

I didn't know it was safe. Thanks for letting me know. I'm almost half way across the river now just above Dock Street dam.

My friends and I were  walking on the Susquehanna River back in 1977 when we were teenagers. We erected a makeshift monument out of tires and some type of flag in the middle of the river, that was visible to the people in Dalmatia and to anyone traveling rt .147. We got a little over halfway across the river and we encountered thin ice in swifter water and turned around and got off the river. Those were the days, I got to do it with no regard for safety.

I guess if we read about @sauss06being called in to fish somebody out of the river, we can all expect to be ordered to issue a statement.

One of our mildest morning lows in over 10 days here in Chester County with all stations remaining in the low to mid-teens. Today and tomorrow look like our mildest days over the next week. High temperatures today will be in the upper 20’s, and some spots tomorrow have a chance to reach freezing or above for the first time in 11 days. We turn colder again to close out the work week and will turn significantly colder again by the weekend with temperatures remaining in the teens for highs. We have a couple of minor snow chances this week - the first on Tuesday night and another on Friday.

Yesterday's high of 62 in Great Falls, Montana was 4 degrees higher than the 58 recorded in Key West, Florida.

Many areas in Miami-Dade experienced a hard freeze the past 2 nights. 

At Walt Disney World, the dancing fountains at Epcot were frozen over for the first time since the park opened in 1982.

At 3pm my temperature at home was 32.8, making it the first time above freezing since January 23rd.

Same here. I went out 20 mins and was able to break up the ice dam blocking the end of my sidewalk meeting the street.

Tomorrow’s 35, sun and no wind will melt quite a bit of anything left on pavement that isn’t a big plowed pile.

We had highs in the mid teens.And we had lows at zero or negative for a week

The snow in my yard where people have walked is now a solid ice glacier. If we suddenly had a day of heavy rain and temps in the upper 40's it would turn into an unmitigated street flooding diaster due to water having no where to go.
