Discussion OBS for minor to possibly moderate impact winter storm interior 4A Tue - midnight Tue 12/2/25, may bring first measurable snow-sleet to coastal areas including NYC

12z nam is much better,it's gone from amped inland to just offshore coastal. Nyc ends as all snow. All the models are coming in to agreement with some wiggle room for improvement.

Thinking along the lines of 2-4" for my location and elevation.  Expect main / well traveled roads to have few if any issues as they will be heavily treated.  Side and back roads I would expect issues.  Not a bad start to the season and no matter what the first half of December looks to average solidly below normal.

Probably some white rain at the onset, maybe even a little grass accumulation at best but will all turn to rain with temps near 40F.

This post is ridiculous. Now you’re posting completely untrue, false information about a model run and you should get a warning for it. The new 3K and 12K NAM have zero snow anywhere in NYC even at 10:1 ratios. The wishcasting needs to stop. Put it in banter, not in a serious thread

I actually agree with you. Yes the coast can see some flakes at the start but with a departing high, this will be an all rain event. There is no snow at the end of the storm on any model.
