And if anyone thinks I’m being a dick to Wolfy this is only 10% dick and 90% busting his balls. Although I do expect one more hurtful reply coming my way.

I’m good Brian…you guys have your ideas. That’s fine. I have mine. I don’t bring it up. I’m here to talk about current weather.

The data is skewed..period.  But Please take to proper thread…Mr. stir the pot.

It's these sweeping declarations of ideological talking points in complete ignorance of the painstaking data processes, paleoclimatological advancements, and plentiful data sourcing that goes into these datasets that make it hard for me to believe that these are good-faith arguements backed by substantiated evidence. The data for the Keeling Curve is well documented. The methodologies behind datasets demonstrating trends in temperature and CO2 on the scale of hundreds of thousands of years are the direct result of the leaps and bounds paleoclimate research has experienced in recent decades. All of this is well documented, verified through basic atmospheric chemistry, and published through rigorous peer review. But why dig into something that could potentially be in the opposite of my world view when I can simply say "nuh-uh", "skewed" (whatever that means), or "rigged".

I’ll end it here…300 billion tons of new ice this winter in Antarctica.  Kind of flies in the face of a warming planet that is out of control.  Enough said.

Take it to the cc thread.

High precipitation anomalies too that led to heavier snowfalls… wonder what could be causing the atmosphere to hold more water up there?  I’m stumped.

That's like saying a record cold spell that lasts 2 days goes against the CC argument. Lots of snow in ern Antarctica helping with that. Look at the trends. Everybody acknowledges short term trends can trump an underlying signal, but it's like the stock market. Long term trend baby.

It’s all good baby…keep believing the crap. Any trend will reverse in time. Whether our lifetime or the nexts..it will reverse.

Enough now. We are told it’s getting warm and melting ice.  Love how you try and have it both ways. Comical.

We are melting ice. Just like we still have snow but are getting warmer. It's not having it both ways.

And if it was in western Antarctica, they’d say the same thing.  Give it a break now.

Okay guys, looking at both ends of the spectrum, there are definitely natural atmospheric changes, whether it be due to volcanic eruptions, melting ice, we know from what's happened in the last millions of years that it's cyclical. Cyclical. However, some of these effects are definitely affected by what we as humans are doing as far as the use of oil, gas, chemicals, and co2s being pushed in our atmosphere. It definitely has an effect on fast forwarding climate change so there's no one person who's right or wrong here.

Now back to the latest weather

There a lot of signs that go against what you are saying. So please, take this shit, to the proper thread. And you can fixate all you want over here.

Wolf's stat did pique my interest. Sure enough, ice mass is up in 2025 for Antarctica, but looking at the data over time, I can't see anything saying we aren't melting more and more down there. Context matters, as do proper data analysis methods to properly communicate results.79942090_Screenshot2025-11-07122232.thumb.png.6079dd38f100252e3e17a62e9624860a.png

Well proper communication has not been a hallmark of CC advocates…so whatever.

Looks all natural to me. This has happened in the past even though it occurred exponentially slower compared to now. Nothing to see. Stop making a big deal out of it.

What I think is amazing is how the global temperatures have risen at nearly a 1::1 correlation (proportionality) to that Keeling Curve spanning the same decades ...

yet, they are not related!  whooah

- says people with accredited advancing research degrees that exhaustively plied through every thermodynamic physical methodology that has ever been known to man, too -

You know, there is certainly a right to free speech.   But, heh ...there is certainly just as much right to being roundly ignored,  even chastised,  for disconnect from reality, brick for a skulls walking around hee-hawing in abstinence over what science ( the pursuit of truth, mind you) has been 100% backing timelessly

yeah...really amazing
