Why has Boston been hitting 100 more frequently than we have Don? They are to our northeast and the waters are much colder there.

Thick tree cover for Central Park. Westerly winds are ideal for heating the Boston area, as the air warms upon descent from the Berkshires.

Southwest wind blows heat from the city right across to the airport.

Central Park hit 99 but its back down to 96

100° now a few blocks east of the ASOS on 75th street on the ENSO west network. With several 100°+ readings just outside the Park on Wunderground.

I hate how Central Park gets treated as if it’s NYC’s Blue Hill Observatory. If it’s not going to be fixed then I’d rather it be shut down.

It's trash

KNYC hits 99. honestly i'm in the neighborhood and I think that's p accurate for our high so far. highest temp at the park since 2012.

Is your current temperature down to 96? Because that's what the park is claiming.
