Sat on the front covered porch with wife and kids and still got soaked from the sporadic wind gusts blowing in the rain, torrential at times. Looks like nearly .6” in the gauge. We should top out short of 90 degrees today across most of the county but Thursday through Saturday we should see temps in the lower 90's for most. The heat will only pay a brief visit as has been the case this cool summer with temps likely not escaping the 70's by Sunday. Will be interesting to see how the globals evolve on Sat with today's runs. Several progs show 18Z temps in the 70's in N PA and mid 90's in far Southern PA with Harrisburg being under 90 on some and well over on others. All based on frontal timing.
