I agree...that's what I was just saying.

Being sarcastic in that last post, but at this point in the season, you also need to weigh seasonal trends.

LOL, but it's a different environment now. I usually stay conservative here in these setups. We'll see. I know you don't want to hear it, but SG looks decent up by you.

You have to admit, seasonal trends are a thing....there are times where you are better off defaulting to it, as opposed to straining and playing the pin the tail on the weenie to identify the local lollis.

This is like the 4th time you've mentioned elevation, and yesterday mets in here were saying that this is not particularly elevation dependent.

It will accumulate everywhere. But it’s Morch with high sun angle and falling during the day. The highest and coldest spots will just get the most. That’s all. Not a huge deal but it will make a difference

No that was for the weekend chance....if that even happens in SNE. Elevation will matter somewhat tomorrow, but if he has 2SM -SN...it won't do much even on top of the massif.

But what about the song "Over the river and through the woods"?  They explicitly say "The horse knows the way to carry the sleigh,
Through (the) white and drifted snow!".  There are no St. Patrick's Day snow related songs.  This obviously means that March isn't a real snow month

O Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen and down the mountainside
The summer's gone and all the roses falling
'Tis you, 'tis you must go and I must bide
But come ye back when summer's in the meadow
Or all the valley's hushed and white with snow
'Tis I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow
O Danny boy, O Danny boy, I love you so
When winter's come and all the flowers are dying
And I am dead, as dead I well may be
You'll come and find the place where I am lying
And kneel and say an "Ave" there for me
But I shall hear though soft you tread above me
And all my grave shall warmer, sweeter be
And you will bend and tell me that you love me
And I shall sleep in peace until you come to me
O Danny boy, the stream flows cool and slowly
And pipes still call and echo 'cross the glen
Your broken mother sighs and feels so lowly
For you have not returned to smile again
So if you've died and crossed the stream before us
We pray that angels met you on the shore
And you'll look down, and gently you'll implore us
To live so we may see your smiling face once more
Once more

Also, the poem that was turned into "Over the River and Through the Woods" was written in 1844 which appears to be near the end of The Little Ice Age, so a snowy Thanksgiving was probably more common.  Jerry might be able to confirm what Thanksgiving was like in 1844.

The angle is early /mid September now. I got sunburn Sunday at soccer tourney . Noyes mentioned it on air today

I disagree on that Kev.

Yeah 12 days from the equinox is equivalent to October 1st or OCtober 2nd sun angle.

I guess Noyes needs to study up a bit more lol.
