Waking up to 14 here in Maggie with clear skies. Coldest morning of the winter season so far. 

There is really no sign of a big thaw over at least the next couple of weeks. Wave after wave of Arctic Air move in every few day with disturbances riding along the boundary to our S. Back is sore as hell this morning from shoveling the driveway.

Not sure who said it, but it used to be said that when the ETA(now the NAM) and the Euro are the same, you can take it to the bank. Maybe DT said it?

12z GFS showing a saturated dendritic growth zone around WNC Thursday evening with temps in the upper 20's at the surface.  I know its not showing up on the precipitation maps but that is very close to a snow sounding.  Lets see if the Euro holds it ground, I bet it does.
