Snow has really picked up over last 20 minutes or so - things are whitening up quickly temp peaked at 35.0 now down to 34.1 but it is sticking even on paved surfaces

GFS HIVF3 went bonkers and includes Central Jersey in the anafront extravaganza with near 3" snow! I'm riding this run to the halls of Valhala.

Wind has shifted to the NE across NW Chesco after SE all A< - snowing moderately with all surfaces even blacktop getting covered.

Wxsim with 12z data has moderate snow becoming heavy by 230pm with moderate snow toward 5pm and light snow continuing through 830pm with a total accumulation of 3" to 4"

Ha you beat me to it.  Yea, early dismissal for NJ state workers.  Not entirely sure why, nothing is happening here in TTN.  Perhaps up north its gonna be bad?

Heaviest snow of the day here temp still holding at 34.1 but accumulating on all surfaces even the main road as of 2pm 0.5" of snow here in East Nantmeal Township

Radar really looks like it is coming together with a heavier line of qpf along and developing behind the front. Should be an interesting afternoon.

Measured 1.25" and snow has steadied itself as the heaviest of the day. Should be a nice couple of hours.

Moderate rain in Wilmington DE.  Going to be a whole lot of nothing here today.  Warm air still pushing north.

Heavy Snow have not measured but over an inch and accumulating quickly all roads are covered....however just 200 feet lower and 5 miles away on the road to Exton there is nothing on the ground at all - elevation is certainly a factor with this one so far. Temp 33.7 but accumulating

A couple of hours at least - enjoy! Down here it's 36F and a cold moderate rain, with a few snowflake splats mixed in on the windshield, but not nearly enough. DP is 33. Radar looks great, if only it was snow. Could be a while yet before the rain-snow line makes it to here.

Currently holding at 40 with RA (not enough to tip the bucket yet).  Meanwhile KINL is currently -20 with a forecast low of -40.

Steady moderate snow here in Allentown. Changeover never got up here. About 2” so far, well on our way to the predicted 3-6”.

Heavy Snow and 33.3 here in East Nantmeal now up to 2.3" of snow and looks to continue for at least a couple more hours 1" in last 45 minutes. All roads are covered. Yet 200 feet lower and 6 miles south of here still nothing on the ground
