Closing in an 1/2 inch out here. From NW Nassau on east the rain totals will not be impressive. Maybe .75 - 0.80. Heaviest rains stayed west and south. Rainfall rates not impressive either, generally 1/2" an hour or less.

That intense band scrapped the south shore let's see what the wantagh station gets

Drove through the blinding rain from the Sunken Meadow Pkwy to the Belt Pkwy (roughly 35-40 miles), got splashed a few times and was effectively blind to the road ahead. I had to "turn around, don't drown" under a flooded underpass in Laurelton. And then a portion of 878 was under about a foot+ water, a semi sped through it and sent an actual wave (not a splash) of water over the tops of cars, myself included.

I'm at 1.30" and counting.

Picked up 0.97" of rain so far for the day.

Big jackpot around the area was Warren Co, NJ where the best training set up.
