I remember CON pulling an 87F in mid Oct 1995 with 850s less than that. As long as we warm sector up here it'll be off to the races.

yeah ...this whole thing Tue/Wed smacks of maximization under ideal circumstances..

i don't think we got that sort of < 50 % at 700 mb RH, 17.5 C at 850, perfect westSW wind scenario all summer.  i almost fell off my chair this morning when i saw a lot of machine guidance with DPs well over 60, too - wow.

i think some records could be in trouble.

also, the NAM MOS decides to go 8 F off KFIT out of no where for Tuesday.  we'll see. ..

Nice mild day today...hit 67F at 1,500ft and 70F at MVL/750ft.

Should get well into the 70s on Tuesday.

Sitting outside with a cocktail on the deck as the dogs play while its 63/54 this evening in mid-October is kind of nice.  Sliding doors open, a nice breeze...enjoy it before the winter cold gets here.

What kind of beverage? Fruity umbrella or Blue Hawaiian?
