Looks like a spotter in Merrick picked up 3.61 with the convection earlier.

Tim Morrin, National Weather Service meteorologist based in Upton. At just past noon, Merrick was reported to have seen 3.61 inches of rain, he said.

Yup south of me.

That's about what I have. Hoping that softened the ground a bit so the next batch can soak in.

Obviously it's better then nothing and I hope to break a inch for the storm, but I have noticed zero flash flood warnings in eastern pa and western NJ. Looks like the radar has more bark then bite west of us

This round looks east of me too

Tip made a good point in in the NE thread about how with pwat as high as they are the radar is underestimating the intensity of the heaviest rain. I fully fully agree

Suffolk will get the worst of this round as well. Just like the first round. Still expect flooding in Nassau especially in areas that were hit hard by round 1.

I don't think I have EVER seen 2 flash flood warning in one day. Another 2-3" on top of my 4" from earlier!!!

I think this is my first jackpot ever in our region

The rate at which it was raining early this afternoon brought me flashbacks of last year's deluge in Lindenhurst.  Crazy to see two FFW's in one day, but I'm grateful that this event is not as merciless as that one, which did some real damage out here.
