WintersGrasp
You can see the even darker 5-6 foot shade in NB. I'd hate to be in that 30-40" zone in between. Such disappointment

Saturn510
The setup depicted will yield greater results than what the models show.
mob1
If that happens, I'm jumping.Haha, it would obviously look a lot better when extrapolated, but we are getting light snow while Philly is really ripping (it's just for entertainment sake)

mob1
The storm is developing and moving NE.I know, it was just to show the contrast between that and the other models that have the heaviest snow north of us at that hour (before it explodes off the coast)

mob1
NAM has 30+ mph sustained winds for the coast, I can't see gusts on tropial tidbits but cape cod has like 60 mph sustained winds, what an epic and dynamic storm, regardless of how much snow we get. WintersGrasp
lolol, btw didnt the NAM show that white color over NYC the day before that joke of a blizzard?Yep I believe it showed 50" around NYC. This time, if that heavy snow banding is able to move about 500 miles to the SW, there's a chance we can get it

mob1
Digging further south on the GFS, I hate extrapolating the run but I think it will be at least a little better for us.

mob1
If you check the last 6 GFS runs, it looks the same for our area, it's incredibily consistent. This run did shift things a shade south though.

Franklin0529
This is from orh from NE thread who someone in this thread earlier said he is usually spot on..... GFS is definitely a bit south again. Who knows what the final QPF numbers will be, but they are still relatively irrelvant at this stage. Most important is continuing to see the mid-levels trend better.
