HarveyLeonardFan
Sleet now mixing in with the snow here. Ping. Ping. 22F Temps are colder than I expected. Is that a personal thermometer or the Westerly state airport which is 7 miles inland. No pingers here so far but barely 2 inches.
weathafella
Might end up being snowiest stretch of your 70 years. That would be impressive 68 but who's counting....lol. 1/20-2/4/61 gave me at least 4 feet...tough to beat that one. But this one is the real deal and it's not an isolated pattern blip. There is some really heavy stuff by Rick approaching the CD. That's going to be the 'go big or go home' opportunity for here. No pingers here so far but barely 2 inches.Westerly State Airport is less than 2 miles from the coast, not sure where you heard 7 miles from? I'm about a mile and a half further inland than the airport but I'm now up to 23F on my weather station with a 50/50 mix of sleet and snow. 2" down. Westerly Airport is still reporting 22 degrees. Shouldn't be long before you ping too my friend.
