Ian
Correct! Pick again Ian, you have control of the board. Temps still going up. Maybe we can rectify that "cooler than expected" problem.

wxdude64
Temps still going up. Maybe we can rectify that "cooler than expected" problem. Slow, cruel temp. fall, down to 41.7/33.9. Don't think it is going to matter, Lewisburg is down to 37/31 and still reporting rain.

Bob Chill
Typical nw trend puts me in dark blue. I'll call it purple for now, List and moisture finally getting organized east of the mountains. I have my fingers crossed that someone gets lucky near DC on this. There's enough moisture and lift to make the precip happen. Snow is a wildcard for a myriad of reasons above and beyond the fact we have been suckin near the beltway so far this year. Ian
Probably not though If I only get 3" instead of 5" I'm going to be livid.. plus we know DCA will get like 1.8".

If we're going to accidentally fall into something this might be it. Temps do suck at present.
aldie 22
Why is the HRRRRRRR north to south and the nam east to west with the precip orientation?
Ian
Why is the HRRRRRRR north to south and the nam east to west with the precip orientation? h triple r has the same orientation in general.. what i posted above was sort of a last gasp thing after e/w band of mainly rain prior. Bob Chill
The vort passage is quite ideal. If we're going to accidentally fall into something this might be it. Temps do suck at present. It really is ideal. If i just tracked h5 maps I would be like "woah, n side of that could pop for someone" but then the stupid 10m temp maps have to come in and steal all the thunder. These events can definitely surprise a more eastern location than the usual suspects. We'll see what shakes out. I wouldn't be shocked at no accum anywhere or somebody baggin 3". Disc
Tooooorch. I'm in the mid 50's right now.. The sunset was pretty, though. Didn't have a camera, but one of my weathercams got it somewhat.
