Just went through here in NW NJ. Very weak with a few gusts of maybe 30MPH. Heavy rain for about 5 minutes... Now moderate rain and breezy.

Yeah I'm getting plenty of 30-40 mph gusts at the moment while the sun is still out and the line is to my west. Have to wonder if the winds are going to more impressive right now than when the line moves through.

edit just had a gust that had to be close to 50

Nvm, the line just weakened. it looks like we'll probably just see some moderate rain from this.

Not looking like we're going to see very much with this (T-storm wise). There might be some heavy rain for a time but we just were never able to get any sun. We would have some in passing here in Midtown but the clouds would always fill back in and we would have a shower off and on. Not a good setup for severe in this area.

Experienced some very strong winds here at work in Whippany about ten minutes ago... Lost power about twenty seconds during the strongest gust. Running on generator at the moment. It dwindled in intensity within about five minutes, just a few gusts & moderate rain now.

same here...interesting that places in between saw much less wind

EWR gust to 40mph at 3:24pm.

LGA and JFK are also gusting to near 40mph. I imagine that with even the weak line approaching, that the winds will mix down close to 60mph along the coastal locations, which is why a warning has been issued.
