cyclone77
91 here today, 93 at Sterling. Only 86 in MLI where apparently the clouds moved in a lot quicker than here. Should get some rain late tonight and tomorrow but it's very difficult to say how much. Very close to the all or nothing zone.
Geos
Met. summer went out with a bang today! High 94° before Isaac's clouds moved in. Totally overcast now with a stiff ENE wind off the lake. The low between now and midnight will determine if this month is below normal, normal, or above normal. Too close to call atm!

SpartyOn
Best Spring and Summer I can remember. Most def I will give an A. I think the lack of severe weather was a slight drawback. The overall abundance of beautiful sun filled days and lack of rain made for plenty of stellar outside days. The heat of July was noteworthy but nothing we can't handle in MI. The cool start to August then the final torch of this week made for something for everyone. Soon the skies will turn gray and dim and the flakes will fly. We will enjoy our snowfalls and ice, But it won't be long before the tulip pop again.

cyclone77
No 100s in August, but 10 90 degree days. Was a pretty warm month overall, but compared to July it felt cooler than what it really was. Had a few nice rainfall events too, which was great after the two previous months. It was the middle part of the month that featured seasonably cool temperatures.

Powerball
The exact temperature for August is 72.95*F, but it doesn't look like it's going to be rounded upward to 73*F. So the departure for the month will be 0.9*F and this will just be the 2nd hottest summer on record with a temperature of 74.7*F.
