Unless we can find a 156 map.. we will have to wait for tonight

144 -- http://raleighwx.ame...0mbWinds144.gif (30-40 kts are nearby)

168 -- http://raleighwx.ame...0mbWinds168.gif (already gone by)

ahh. well there's some remnant 50kts to the north so i think we could probably assume that goes over us at least. but this is pretty in the weeds for d5+ now.

150: Rocky Mount,NC

156: Tappahannock,VA

162: Elkton, MD

168: Just E of Binghamton, NY

What I'm gonna look for is to see if it tracks along/south of the Bahamas. If this happens, we would probably get some good effects. If by Wednesday it Passes north of the Bahamas it's effects here will be minimal/none.

You seem so sure...

EDIT: Not disagreeing, just indicating that there are alternative possibilities in play despite the lower statistical chance.

Thats why we are weather weenies to look for this and hope for it this far out... this is kinda like tracking a potential snowstorm in winter

Yeah I have access to the euro just didn't realize we only had every 24 hrs on that map. The track and isobars alone argue for decent winds.
