  1. Past hour
  2. I would think for a SE coast hit, you'd want this to develop well SW so when it turns N and NNE, it's headed towards land at least. For NC - NE impacts, I would think we'd want to see pretty oranges to our N and E. instead (at least on that 12z gfs) it's a ripping trough and westerlies. Also, that's a miserably weak U/L near the Panhandle, and probably would want that wayyyy north and stronger. lol not a good capture setup with the westerlies so closeby
  3. Luckily no roosters! They used to have one and I swear that thing's reason for living was to try to murder me Sun coming out in Germantown! Better enjoy it
  4. Out at the cabin at just over 3k ft elevation i'd say half the leaves have already fallen. Color was shite though, I think with the drought they just crisped up and fell off. Down in Calvert we haven't really had any color change yet. It's been wet down here so hopefully the color will be better.
  5. This Afternoon Forecast Sunny, with a high near 78. South wind around 5 mph. Dense cloud cover all day not a ray. But not a complaint it's been the best weather ever for weeks and weeks
  6. 100% COC today.....gorgeous time out in the boat. A little bundling needed.....but shore side, it really is a perfect day. 68* and not a cloud to be seen.
  7. GOES is having trouble today. It has been almost two hours since the satellite data has updated.
  8. Might be a weak TS verbatim but as you know it’s more important to see the steering patterns that trough is really what make this a land threat as a ridge builds over the top and it’s not crazy far out—only about a week away. Short fuse system.
  9. The cacti won’t do well with that much water though.
  10. You know winter is coming when we start getting the Spartman Tennessee focused precip maps.
  11. I'm going to be real honest, we're trying to pour concrete for more mesonet sites and we just need some windows of dry weather.
  12. Pushes it south after this if I’m looking at the right one. We could use the rain, but please not another Florence.
  13. Today
  14. Euro really has the mix line hugging I-95 though
  15. well then you will not have to worry about...Plenty of side street sweat this winter with cutters.
  16. Not many when you work during the only hours where it's light. That's why we summer.
  17. if that doesn't pan out i'll be pulling my boat out next weekend, I've never seen the CT river lower than it is right nowelles StGlastonbury, CT 06033
  18. How much of that is snow?
  19. Dude I already asked for 26-28, I guess we can add in two more days . Looking at GFS/Euro, seems like something comes through thurs/fri and sat/sun appear dry? GFS was bringing some sort of storm up the coast but now its delayed and not as close to land.
  20. on a typical winter day how many hours do you spend outdoors??
  21. Hour 177 is interesting. 6z GFS had the storm much closer to the DC area but still something to watch.
  22. Detroit played well last week on the offensive side of the ball, but Goff seems to have problems with outdoor games. Maybe tonight is one of those problem nights.
