Take a trip up to Ottawa

I certainly don't know but it has felt like at minimum my area would be seeing snowtv from this. That map says perhaps more

Snowman weenied this message and hates the idea of this event so much that he had to also click into the thread itself to send a weenie there. You know, to show how much he hates that thread and how he wants nothing to do with it.

Effective at 1:30 p.m. EST, the 2009 EPA Endangerment Finding which was foundational to the US Climate Alarmist rules will be revoked! Great news!!

I need it to snow somewhere...I have the kids Sunday-Monday and they love snow chases.

And the EPS were a whiff, which is why it wasn't posted

I am back guys and i made a thread for Presidents' day storm potential -
Tbh, a snowstorm followed by a warmup is really exactly what I want. I’m in.
-
radio show and play by play tonight. You hosting?

I am back and I figured we could open up a thread for this. I've been excited for this storm and I think that Bermuda High will essentially bring this storm to our latitude and go through a bombogenesis phase and give us a healthy snowstorm. Discuss away.

Looking at some buoy data, the ocean buoys from about Virginia/ north Carolina north all show water temps in the 30s, further north you go the closer to 32 they get. Only 1 well south/ east of montauk shows 41°F water temps.

No more glue left…May need duct tape. -
Thanks i never made a post about it here but you can read about it here. There's also a website updates page to see what's new every week, it's always a continual work in progress. 25-26 storms are being updated in near real time on the dedicated page for it.

Better to be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.

So what's your memory of the events of 2016? Initially the record wasn't broken with 26.8" and after 2 or 3 months they changed it to 27.5" based on surrounding obs and radar. Didn't that storm shake up measurement guidelines for the city and the guy doing official measurements get replaced or something?

Where is liberty bell? haven't seen him here in awhile

It's probably the only time in my long weather memory that New York City, specifically Central Park, had a high measurement, some might call it accurate which in itself is a minor miracle, compared to most of the surrounding area. The reason for it, Paul Kocin was on top of them that entire storm for the measurements because he thought it might break the single storm record total, which it eventually did. Of course to later be topped by the 2016 blizzard.

And also due to the strength of it too(more dynamical of a system). But still super low chences.

@The 4 Seasons Great archives page! Saved as a favorite.

Interesting how a more phased system really pulls that cold air in from the northern stream.

Anthony I pray Mama and the Bambino are doing well. If S19 wasn’t post limited his counter point posts during the cold season would rival Liberties output. Rob’s great response reminds me of the Equalizer and after reading Nibor’s post all I can think of is where will I find a tool like that if I ever get social again. Stay well, you and the family, as always ……
