  1. Past hour
  2. Honestly kinda puts 96 in perspective (up here). The conditions we had from about 4 am thru 8 am today was roughly what we had for 12 hours straight in 96 and its why for my area 96 will always be king.
  3. There are some great towns to your west as you get into the hilly area, but then there’s also towns to the east a little closer to the coast that tend to get on these coastal pretty well.
  4. Another beautiful storm in the books. Snow on the ground is my standard lol. Schools closed is my son's. 2 for 2. Measured 3.5" in my usual spot, but looks like over 4" in others.
  5. That’s not it; it’s also the powder here vs the heavy wet snow. Here we are trading worse visibility—with the blowing and drifting snow— for less outages.
  6. Probably around 15 or so in Montvale. Caught the band early this morning .
  7. .25mi vis and gusting to 30 at MHT last observation. Getting closer to Blizzard conditions.
  8. Only about a foot here in Clarkstown. I expected to wake up to more than this. I must have just missed that death band. Just flurrying here.
  9. Officially 20+ inches here in the nw part of the bronx. Its ripping !!. 27 degrees so its higher ratio stuff falling. Literally took less then 20 mins to record .6..thats how hard its snowing.
  10. My sister in Plymouth, MA sent this to me. Parents live in Plymouth, as well. I should have taken PTO and hone home. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1Kax9y824C/
  11. Currently 15'' OTG on the ground here as of 9AM. Strongest wind gust thus far was 45mph earlier this AM.
  12. @jconsor the above states phae 7 is cold for March. Not sure the diff.
  13. The 10 mile difference between us is significant with the radar beam drift
  14. Nothing robs joy more than 6 days of hand-wringing just be disappointed by 10 inches. Not sure tracking is worth it
  15. I'm estimating about 5" near Germantown, which correlates with reports from around me. Decent storm with grass fully covered and trees coated. I wish so many others in the area didn't get left out
  16. Just epic. And still coming down hard. This is one of the greatest of all time here that I can remember in my lifetime, was born 2 years after 78. I’ve got 5’ drifts along my stockade fence. A little concerned this is going to take some effort to clear even with the snowblower!
  17. Not sure if posted..all the sites that reached blizzard criteria https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=OKX&issuedby=OKX&product=LSR&format=CI&version=3&glossary=0
  18. The RGEM nailed the cutoff up here tho! Almost to the mile & amount!
