  2. Sounds like a yellow Jacket sting.. Dolomedes tenebrosus, commonly known as the dark fishing spider, is venomous, but its venom is not medically significant to humans. While they can bite, they are not aggressive and usually bite only when mishandled. The bite is typically no more severe than a bee sting, and most people do not experience serious effects.
