    I mean, snowflakes flew on May 9, 2020 and a freeze occurred on May 18, 2023 in some spots. And those were following very warm and nearly snowless winters.

    Not a bad bounce back here this monring.. 44 sucks, but it was 28 at dawn. Helluva lot better. I'm sure we're hitting the bounce ceiling soon...     Grandkids in Gloucester County enjoyed the heat. We managed to reach 70 last Tuesday. Then yesterday brought cold rain (0.66") that ended with a coating of snow, and 24° this morning.

    MDT's April 21st record low of 30, set in 1956, is in play. I certainly think a number of unofficial stations will easily get into the 20s, question is whether the "river station" can. I have my doubts.

    There was also a low of 43 at KSAV, their coldest low since way back on March 19th, while KSVN had 47. The forecasted lows had been only down to the low 50s. This was the largest morning low colder than forecast bust in quite a long time in this area. Dewpoints of 37 along with light winds gave it that opportunity.

    Today Isolated snow showers after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 41. Northwest wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%. Tonight Mostly clear, with a low around 22. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Make it stop!

    It is no surprise to those of us following and posting the dailies that the RONI equivalent for last week rose 0.4 to +0.1, the largest weekly gain since the week centered on 5/31/23, which warmed 0.5.     accumulating hail or sleet—roofs, cars, mulch, grass. 40/34, down from 45 last hour. and yesterday i drove through snow in the Poconos—it’s the most frozen precip i’ve seen in April in a long time.

    Well, at least the peach tree flowers were beautiful....after last night and tonight, we will not be eating fruit from those trees this year. Temp was 27.3⁰ this morning with heavy frost, can only imagine a few degrees lower tonight finish them off....
