    At least I didn't finish in last place this time - still way behind you for the past month plus though Massive screw up today on the models and corresponding forecast for sure ... Flood watches for the Valley and extreme drought areas but all the real rain was the 95 east areas...

    The amazing runs keep coming! The 12Z 8/2/26 CFSv2 has the strongest AAM for forecast days ~12-23 that I’ve seen/saved! The mean hits 3 on day 12, 3.5 on day 16, and 4 on day 17 or 18! There are 3 of 4 members at 4+ on day 19 or 20 through day 22! Afterward, it isn’t quite as impressive as the last run and the far right isn’t as impressive as the last 2 although it’s still very impressive:@snowman19

    The gaps in the precipitation and drought have largely spared the metros from any wider issues. If this rain came as one longer fused batch of precip, there would've been a few water rescues at least. On a similar note, I wish WPC would develop an event archive like SPC does. It would be great for research.

    Why though? Out in the open , away from any tree drop. It’s the best spot that I’ve had it since I got my first Davis . I don’t have many options here living in the woods

    .17 for the day with most of it earlier in the day. One side of my hood had sunshine (home) then the other side had downpours this late afternoon. Cant win them all. So humid today, gross.

    Trust the Synoptics IMO the synoptic setup was screaming that this would be a flooding potential event. I'm really surprised that WPC dropped the ball and didn't at least put a slight out to I-64 starting a few days ago. LWX slowly started to realize the potential starting on Friday but the writing was on the wall starting on Wednesday.
